The invitation

Come back to yourself in the jungle

There is a different kind of peace that unfolds here. The kind that comes from waking up above the clouds, hearing the jungle come alive, moving your body without rushing, and remembering what it feels like to be fully present.

Somewhere between the waterfall hikes, the warm air, the morning movement, and the long exhale you did not realize you were holding, something starts to shift. You feel clearer. Lighter. More like yourself again.

That is the feeling we built this retreat around. Five days in Costa Rica's Diamante Valley, where each day blends intentional movement, energy healing sessions, nourishing food, and time to simply be outside in one of the most magical settings we've laid our eyes on.

The days

A natural rhythm of movement, learning and deep rest

Mornings open with yoga and breathwork in the bamboo Air Temple as the valley wakes, a guided hike to a waterfall, or a strength session in the open air. Nothing forced, everything optional.

Afternoons are designed for integration. Before we move toward the waterfalls, we create space for education with Dr. Matt Lyon, whose work sits at the intersection of nervous system healing, energy medicine, chiropractic care, applied kinesiology, and functional medicine. These sessions help you understand your body in a different way, to deeply heal and gain clarity. Then, when it feels right, we hike, swim, explore, or simply rest.

Evenings bring everyone back together around nourishing meals, conversation, and the fire pit. Every practice has a way in for every body. This is not about performing wellness. It is about feeling present, supported, and grounded in your own body.

“This retreat is built around the kind of reset you cannot get by simply taking a day off.”

The setting

Above the clouds at Holos Basecamp

Holos sits on a private ridgetop with 360° views of the Diamante Valley and Diamante Falls, Costa Rica's tallest waterfall. Two hundred acres of forest, river, and six waterfall pools, all to ourselves.

You'll sleep in spacious star glamping tents with real beds, pillow-top mattresses, soft linens, and air conditioning. Think jungle immersion with real comfort: restorative sleep, open-air dining, and practices held in a bamboo temple where sacred geometry meets the jungle canopy.

It's eco-luxury in the truest sense: nothing between you and the land, but every comfort where it counts.

You'll stay in glamping luxury tents with real beds, pillow-top mattresses, soft linens, and air conditioning, shared with another guest, which is part of what makes the week feel connected. Couples and friends traveling together are guaranteed a private tent to share. Tents come with either a king bed (a shared bed for two) or two queen beds, first come, first served. Because of the intimate, off-the-grid nature of the property, space is genuinely limited.

Good to know

How do I get there?

Fly into San José (SJO), Costa Rica's main international airport. From there it's a scenic drive, domestic flight, or charter to the Diamante Valley. We'll send full travel guidance once you're booked and can help coordinate ground transport.

How fit do I need to be?

Comfortable with a few hours of movement a day, with the option to hike, take yoga, or simply rest. Every activity has a beginner and a moderate path. This is about participation, not performance.

What's the weather like in February?

February is one of the loveliest times in the valley: warm days, cooler evenings above the clouds, and dry-season sun. We'll send a full packing list before you travel.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Yes. The kitchen can work with most preferences and restrictions. Let us know when you register so the chefs can plan.

Can I come solo?

Absolutely. Many guests come on their own. The group is intentionally small, and it tends to feel like friends by the second day.

What if I need to cancel?

The $500 deposit is non-refundable. Payment beyond the non-refundable deposit is transferable to another person for the same program, same year, if your space can be filled. At the 8-week point, if your space cannot be filled, you will forfeit your entire tuition.

Reserve your place

Twenty-four places. That's all.

Tell us a little about you and we'll be in touch with next steps and how to hold your spot. Places are offered in the order requests come in.

A note on accommodations: you'll stay in glamping luxury tents with air conditioning, shared with another guest, which is part of the magic of the week. Couples and friends are guaranteed a private tent together (the king bed is a shared bed for two). Space out here in nature is limited, so early reservations are encouraged.
